Bulldog Tough

The Batavia High School bowling team is set for an exciting season with a group of talented athletes who are ready to make their mark:

The boys will be anchored by 2 returning SBAAC All-stars in Brandon Baker and Charlie Huhn. Brandon Baker (203.6 avg last season, Carter Lynch (183.3), and Charlie Huhn (196) look to defend their SBAAC American Title. The girls finished second last season and look to improve with Ari Machuca (169.2 avg last season), Heaven Clark (175.3), and Isabelle Peck (164.7) leading the charge. Clark and Machuca took home all-conference team awards last season.

These athletes form the core of the team and are poised to make a significant impact during the season.

Team Goals

For the Bulldogs, the primary goal is continuous improvement. The team's focus is on addressing each player's individual weaknesses while sharpening their strengths. They believe that by working on these aspects, success will naturally follow.

Season Overview and Challenges

Batavia places a strong emphasis on tournaments in their schedule. They frequently travel to Dayton to compete against teams they typically wouldn't encounter in Cincinnati. Additionally, the team is looking forward to engaging in non-conference head-to-head matchups against Oak Hills, Fairfield, and West Clermont. These challenges are expected to provide a valuable opportunity for growth.

Title Ambitions

Both the boys and girls teams are returning four starters from last year's squad. The boys are determined to defend their League Championship, showcasing their competitive spirit. Meanwhile, the girls have their sights set on securing their first league title, reflecting their ambition and dedication to success.

The Batavia Bulldogs bowling team, under the guidance of Coach Jason Huhn, is prepared to take on the challenges of the SBAAC and work diligently to achieve their goals. Their commitment to individual and team improvement sets the stage for a successful season. As both teams return key starters, there's a sense of anticipation and ambition for league success.
