Circleville Bowling: Building a Promising Program
School Name: Circleville High School
Conference Name: First Capital Conference
Coach Name: Bo Buckley
Developing Varsity Program
Circleville's bowling team is in its early stages as a varsity program, striving to grow and establish itself:
The program will look to Greyson Buckley, Liam McConnell, and Payton Ford to continue to build the base for the program.
With only the third year as a varsity program, the team is focused on acquiring proper equipment and increasing practice time to enhance their skills and performance.
Facing Every Challenge
Being a newer program, every opponent presents a challenge for Circleville. The team is determined to learn and grow from every match they face.
Community Engagement and Growth
While there aren't specific team-oriented community events, many of the bowlers engage in charitable and community work as multi-sport athletes. This involvement reflects their dedication to making a positive impact beyond the lanes.
Growing Team Size and Fundraising
The team's roster has expanded significantly to 43 kids, nearly double from the previous year. This increase in participation showcases the growing interest in the sport within the school.
The team has set a goal to raise funds for training and equipment critical for their development. Currently, they've raised $1800 toward their target of $7000, aiming to use these funds to enhance their training facilities and equipment. This initiative will pave the way for a stronger and more equipped bowling program at Circleville High School.
Circleville High School's bowling team, under the guidance of Coach Bo Buckley, is in its early stages but determined to grow and establish itself. Their focus on fundraising and community engagement, coupled with a growing team, highlights their dedication to building a successful program for the future.
