St. Ursula Bulldogs advance to 6-0 in GGCL

Tuesday, January 17th the Bulldogs hosted the Seton Saints for one of the best conference showdowns. These two teams look forward to meeting each year and always find their way battling to the last shot. This was a big match that could get the Bulldogs one step closer to making school history.

The Bulldogs started off strong and took an early lead after game one. They were able to hold on to that lead through the second game and the energy only grew entering bakers. The Bulldogs were able to hold off the Saints for a win with a match total of 2361-2249. Varsity Bulldogs were led by Senior, Alli Shattuck with a 2 game total of 415 and Freshman, Shelby Luebbering with a 2 game total of 386. This win advanced the Varsity Bulldogs to 6-0 in the GGCL conference and the Bulldogs are one step closer to clinching a conference title.

The JV Bulldogs matched the energy of this highly anticipated match up out the gate. The Bulldogs were down a player and competing with 4 but never gave up and bowled great against the Saints! They fell short with a match total of 1831-1387. The JV Bulldogs are definitely a team to keep yours eyes out for throughout the rest of the season and upcoming seasons. The Bulldogs were led by Adare Lindy with a 2 game series of 267 and Adriana Luttmer with a 2 game series of 220.

The Bulldogs host Mount Notre Dame on Thursday, January 19 at Stone Lanes. Come out and cheer on the Bulldogs in another highly anticipated conference match!
