Warrior Boys Headed Back to Districts

The Lebanon High School varsity boys are headed back to the district bowling tournament for a remarkable 10th straight year! Very few boys programs in the Greater Cincinnati area can make that claim. While the Warriors have never made it out of districts to the state tournament, maybe this is the Warrior's year. Lebanon placed 2nd at the Crossgate sectional and was battling ECC rival Turpin in the baker games. Lebanon narrowed Turpin's lead to 30 pins going into the final baker game but could not catch the Spartans in that final baker game.
Sean Kober (647), Steven Kramer (601), and Tanner Boyd (587) led the Warrior attack while the other team members fought hard throughout the day to stay in the top 7. Other team members are John Brunetto, Gionni Williams, Hunter McElhaney, and Raymond Sparks.
And what really makes the 10 year streak amazing is that Lebanon hasn't had a bowling center since 2009. Most of the Lebanon bowlers don't actually start bowling until they are freshmen in high school. These kids put in a lot of work to catch up to the teams that have kids who have been bowling in youth leagues all their lives. GO WARRIORS!
