Bexley Defeats Worthington Christian to Remain Undefeated!
Bexley (4-0) went to HP Lanes tonight to take on conference foe Worthington Christian (2-2). Bexley rolled out of the gate, taking a commanding lead in game 1. Senior Zeke Sears-Giardina was high in game 1 rolling 210, senior Karan Rai rolled 191, and junior Reed Schworm rolled 174. This helped the Lions to a 835-761 lead.
In game 2 the Warriors came fighting back. Nehemiah Smith rolled 201 to lead the Warriors in game 2. Bexley's Karan Rai had a career high game of 230.
Bexley led Worthington Christian 1592-1546 headed into bakers. In the baker games the Lions didn't mess around. They fired off games of 162 and 167 to put the match away and secure the victory!
Bexley was led by senior Karan Rai who had a career high series 421!
Senior Zeke Sears-Giardina had 339 and Sophomore Jack Westergaard had his career high game (166) and series of 312.
The Lions look to remain undefeated when they take on Northland High School at Sequoia Pro Bowl Thursday December 14th @4PM.
